The count is a wording-review aid, not a spam probability, AI assessment, or inbox placement score. It does not check your sending domain, authentication, recipient list, or mailbox provider’s filtering decision.
How do I check my email for spam words?
Replace the sample subject and body with your own copy. Highlights update as you type. Review each match in context, edit your wording where useful, and check again. The tool does not rewrite or remove words for you. Use Refresh to clear both fields.
Should I remove every flagged word?
No. A match is a prompt to review meaning, not proof that a provider will reject the message. For example, “Hurry up! Guaranteed income” deserves scrutiny because it makes a strong promise and adds pressure. A truthful “Your free trial ends tomorrow” may need to keep “free” to explain the offer. These are illustrative copy examples, not tested placement results. Prefer accurate, relevant wording over substitutions made only to lower the count.
Does zero flagged words mean my email will reach the inbox?
No. Zero means this list found no matches in the supplied copy. Authentication, sender reputation, recipients’ spam complaints, message formatting and receiving policies can still affect delivery. The checklist percentage below the editor records items you mark complete; it is not a measured inbox rate.
Why can Gmail or Outlook mark a well-written email as spam?
Providers consider more than wording. Google’s sender guidelines cover authentication, DNS, spam complaints, accurate messages and unsubscribe requirements. Microsoft’s anti-spam guidance also covers sender reputation, message content and organization-specific policies. Review the relevant provider’s requirements and any rejection or message-header evidence instead of assuming a flagged word caused the problem.
